How I describe myself and the type of person I am interested in meeting:
I am a single dad with three almost grown daughters (16, 18, & 20). I'm an educated, conservative, patient, country boy. I earn a livin' as a manufacturing engineer. I'm known to be loyal as an ol' coon dog, but don't have fleas, ticks or mange. Whenever I need a good laugh, I just go find a mirror. Lookin' for friendship, I'm not quite through raising my daughters.

Interests include horses, ranching, music (I play mandolin & guitar), church (Baptist), the outdoors. I'm a people person, but I like to get away. If I travel I'd go to remote country & places significant in ancient history.

Likes: Reading, drives in the country, real conversations, music & challenges.

Dislikes: Cities, loud people, unruly children, fake people, & intolerant people.

Favorite movies: Anything with John Wayne, old westerns, old musicals, Disney films. Basicaly the kind of movies you can watch with anyone.

I've let the hassles of being a single dad, an engineer, & everything move horses & reality out of my life for a while & just basically complicate things to the point where ain't nuthin' makes any sense. I'm trying to get back to life the way it's meant to be lived. Things just ain't as bad as they seem when you set your course through the ears of a horse. I've got lots of miles, some scars, but don't start lookin' for that shovel just yet.

My philosophy is "One Less Day". It's one less day until, everything wonderful that will happen. I'm looking forward to those things.

"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you(semicolon) He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid(semicolon) do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8

"May your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times." Romans 12:12

“It can not be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians, not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ!” Patrick Henry
