| How I describe myself and the type of person I am interested in meeting: |
I am a widower with three almost grown daughters. I'm an educated, conservative, patient, country boy. I'm not quite through raising my daughters, therefore I’m only looking for friendship at this time.
Interests: Horses, ranching, music (I play mandolin & guitar & sing bass), church (Baptist), the outdoors, hunting, shooting. I'm a people person, but I like to get away.
Profession: Manufacturing Engineer
Likes: Reading, drives in the country, real conversations, music, & challenges.
Dislikes: Cities, unruly children, fake, loud, & intolerant people.
Favorite movies: Anything John Wayne, old westerns, old musicals. Basicaly the kind of movies you can watch with anyone.
Favorite quote: “The ox is slow, the earth is patient.” From “High Road to China”
My philosophy: "One Less Day…" It's one less day until everything wonderful that will happen. I'm looking forward to those things.
Biggest mistake: After 7 years alone I rushed out, found someone to marry, got myself into a 3 year nightmare, divorced in '07. I’m rather gun shy from that experience and would rather miss the right one, than find the wrong one.
I never have, don’t, & never will drink, smoke, do drugs, sleep around, etc. You may think me boring, I believe I am real. I am loyal to my beliefs, family, & friends.
I've got lots of miles, some scars, but don't start looking for that shovel just yet.
"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you, He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8
"May your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times." Romans 12:12
“It can not be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians, not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ! For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.” Patrick Henry
