If anyone needs a place to stay or room for horses, I can take one or two people and a couple of horses. I'm in Amarillo, but at least I'm inland! I can be contacted at breezy_1@myway.com. I did get a phone call from my friend in LA. She says that for you guys who are thinking of not evacutating, 100 miles is not far enough inland if the storm goes to Cat 5. Please think about going farther inland. If you can't move horses for any reason, find the highest pasture you can with no trees in it. Breezy

In the Dallas area, we've got room in our pasture and water and hay, no stalls. As this is a boarding facility the property owner requests that all horses be current on Coggins and shots. Feed would need to be brought. Email me here on this site or at satug@sbcglobal.net or call 972-792-0738.

The second load is on hold as Tom cannot deliver it during this new hurricane. We are waiting to see the needs in the Houston/Galvelston area especially if it becomes a catagory 4 or 5. Will keep everyone posted. Thanks

When we were in Mississippi people were in need of fencing materials to contain their animals. We may want get a team together that can assist with that after Hurricane Rita hits the gulf coast.
