Re: In Memory Of CowboyBen

Ben you were a hoot, sure do miss your humor in chat.

Damn...8 years. I think of ol Bennie from time to time. Always brings a smile or giggle over something he said or did. A scrapper to the end...m

On Saturday January 11th it will be 8 years since CowboyBen passed away. You are missed.

January 2012: I think about Ben this time of year, for the past six years. Perhaps it was because he was one of our first members back in 2001, and the old guy could sure raise hell in the chat room especially when he got together with Saddler and Montewalsh. (ES lore has it that Saddler bribed his way back into chat by making admin a pair of chinks. It only got him so far before he was booted again!) I miss seeing Ben in the chat room every night. His sudden passing is a reminder to all of us to live each day to the fullest cause you never know when it's your time. ~ Admin

Wow, I dont get to the message board very often and was truly saddened to read that Ben had passed away. I had an opportunity to meet him on a couple of occasions when I first joined ES. He was a great man and I had tremendous respect for him. God Bless his family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Lana

I knew Ben some years ago, here in Az. Never realized he had been an ES member. We lost touch when I moved back to the midwest in 2001. Always up for a good laugh and a little trouble, I'll never forget those late nights when we moved the party back to the "Buffalo Ranch" for a little skinny dippin before the sun came up! Thanks for the friendship and adventures my friend.

Dang. What to say? I met Ben in chat a few yrs ago. I remember him as a fistey ol' cuss with a carin' heart. God Speed Ben and for God sakes don't shoot out all the lights please! Kota

I met ben in vegas 3 or 4 years ago, he and saddler had made a road trip. I was pleasantly surprised by his kindness and gentleness. Ever since then he always took time to say Hi and ask how things were. He was a true gentleman, and he will be missed. Jerry

Ben brought sunshine into the lives of the many people he met and cared about. I met Ben about ten years ago; he left a positive and permanent impression on me and my family. Arlene and Dani Jon
