Jacquie at the feed store I run we have what they call poison peanuts , customers say they work really good. We also started carrying a new product called Revenge. It is a poison smoke bomb u put in the holes. Ask ur feed store about these two items. good luck Jen

Ntcowgirl, I was wondering if those little rascals are in Alaska where the ground is often frozen and hard to dig. We have sandy/clay soil and they have quite a network in the hay field. I have found it to be an on going battle to keep them out. Over many years I have run em out for a year or two but they always come back. The A & M extension service can sometimes come up with a new approach but I have grown to believe they must have some rights to the land because they sure fight for it. Hope you and yours will be here for our Xtreme race in April. Since global warming started, I wonder if Alaska is still bigger than Texas..

lmbo...that's what I did lazy! All the way to Texas from Indiana. I tried everything...traps, mole "feed", cats, nothing worked...they kept coming back faster than I could rid them. I was told to treat my yard for grubs as that is what they're after but I just decided to get outta there! If they find me here, we're going to Wyoming!

CCG Have tried the gum thing abpout 3 years ago and it did work. They are back this year and I'm trying traps. Set them about an hour ago and already have 2 gone. KC

Jacquie, TNT in the holes will get em. You may try watching the movie "Caddie Shack". The caster beans are posionous but problem is they are not selective what they kill but they do make an impressive plant. BS (read in other posts what BS really means) But for real, call your county Extension Agent and he/she will tell you what will work best for your situation and location and pocket book. By the way, you and Buckie and the other saloon girls will be here on April 14 and 15th won't you?

Well, if this was a case of cat-cure, I'd have it made. My next door neighbor (who also has moles) has 6 cats! They are either too lazy to bother catching them, or the moles out number them. I did see my dog Maxx playing with a dead mole last week, but I don't know if he killed it or found it and made a play toy out of it. While I know he's trying to help get rid of them, having a hole big enough for a Doberman to get his whole head and neck into is NOT my idea of an ornamental lawn!!! Thanks for the suggestions.... when I find out what works, I'll let you know.

OK I might have to try that gum thing! LMBO. There was an ag program on here about a month ago and their best suggestion was.......cats. Of course my cat just stares at the hole but I have yet to see a dead mole or vole which is the critter we seem to have up here.
