Bennett, CO Thank you all so much for your kind words.
Holly, you are truly an inspiration and you always know the right thing to say. As you know, I give you credit for our original meeting. Thank you for being such a good friend over the years. I look forward to the next time I'm driving through KS and can stop and visit.
Breezy...you deserter! LOL Do you even miss CO? I'm starting to wonder about you and Topaz for runnin' off to TX. :-)
WarP...so great to hear from you again. We've survived the hardest part, I think. Although we're in the house we're not anywhere near having it done. We spend the majority of our time working on the house or the fences or the shed or the...
Haven't been to any cow catches lately. The gal that ran them moved to WY and no one wanted to take over the "franchise" in this area. I have been to a couple of sorts but mostly my horses get to stand around getting fat while we work on the place. Hopefully, next year will be different.
Thanks again to everyone!

Wellington, KS Perfect timing, David! What a fanfare.
And why WOULDN'T they like you, Sara? You are both loving and kind and supportive . . . with great senses of humor and the tenacity to hold together through building your own home, cutting and laying the wood floor yourSELVES (YIKES!), working and driving many miles to work everyday and keeping horses through a mighty snowy winter!! You are great examples of love in action and it is fitting that you be officially "husband and wife."
Thank you for your friendship, encouragement, laughs, and inspiration. Looking forward to visiting with you again. (Hey, topaz :-)) |

Bennett, CO Hmmmm...well,Cindy, let's see. It took 4 years and the really thin air at 12,000 feet on Trailridge road for him to propose and for me to say yes. I'm guessing it will take at LEAST another 4 years and additional lack of oxygen for us to actually "do the deed!" LOL
Meg, you're right, good news does travel fast. When we got home from the mountains at about 9:30 last night we could see people celebrating our engagement with huge fireworks displays in every direction. People must really like us! :-)~ |
| Congrats Sara & David!!!!!! Good news sure travels fast! :) ~Meg |
