Ron and Rose, I just reread Mark's post about how he proposed to me. I had forgotten it was here along with part of his intriguing characters: Juan, and Pedro, and Maria Elena . . . His stories were so much fun to hear in chat. He would just start a new chapter in the Juan Pedro story off the top of his head, and I'm so glad there is a little bit of the story preserved on the Message Board. Wish I had all the chapters from the years he was in Chat. I often told him that he should write those stories down. They were so funny. Dakota's post brought memories and tears. I saw your congrats to us, as well, and just wanted to tell you that I am so very happy for you and thankful that your love is deep and growing and stronger than ever. Believe it or not, even though Mark is no longer here on earth, the love we had sustains me each day. It is as strong as it ever was, and it has been a an amazing journey for me as I experience the reality of a love that lasts forever. I always hoped that such a love could exist. I mean, books are written about it, but I never really KNEW it until Mark. I am reminded of a Paul Overstreet song: The chorus is: "Love lives on, love lives on, Even when the heartbeat's gone, It won't rust or turn to stone. Life may end, but love lives on." It's a wonderful thing to know that the love between two people can touch the lives of other folks and bring them hope here on Earth , and that even after death, that love will live on. Hello! We met on ES about 4 years ago...got engaged and married and reported it all on here. Just wanted to say that we had our 3rd anniversary on Dec 13 2007. We are very happy together.
