All praise and power and glory and honor be to Our Father who is the Great Healer and Who gives wisdom and skill to the doctors and brings life and health to us. Lord, thank you for your mercy and grace this Christmas Day, the day we chose to remember the Gift of Your Only Son, Jesus, through whom You have shown Your Love and Forgiveness to the World. Thank you for showing your caring to us by bringing Neener through the surgery and giving joy and faith to her family. We know that our lives here on Earth are but an instant in time . . . and we thank you for keeping Neener here with her family for now . . . and for giving us breath and purpose. Neener's job is not, yet, done . . . If it be Your Will, please give her strength to rise from her bed and live to tell of Your love and grace and healing so that others of us, your children, may grow in faith so that we might have strength to face the trials that come to us here on this imperfect planet. Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness to us who have, so often, been less than faithful to You. Thank you for this Christmas gift of good news.
