I just logged on today to discover this post. I am shocked as I was just corresponding with him and I know how much he enjoyed being back on ES. Ray was really well liked in Chat and always had a protective eye out for scammers. He seemed really happy in Mexico. The night before he passed he had posted some of his writing on the message board. I'm glad you left us with that last poem, Ray. You were much too young to leave us this soon. Rest in peace. I hope you're chatting with Bushy, Tim, Dakota, Frostbite, and so many other members we've lost along the way.

Absolutely stunned and saddened by the news. On the other hand, Jack and I go back a long long ways and knowing Jack as well as I do, I'll need to see the body before I believe it. If it is true, I'll say what I know Jack would to me in the same situation: Jesus Jack, what'd ya go and do a thing like that for...? James will be flying to Mexico tomorrow to bring Jack home to be buried in his home state of Texas. I'm honestly stunned by Jack's passing. He was so full of life and good intentions . . . he'd been free with sharing his poetry a few days ago, and I prompted him to post it to the MB 'cause it seemed that many of us ES members would easily identify with the emotions and dreams he expressed. I am so very sorry to hear that you are no longer with us, Jack. I know that Our Father didn't let you walk out of this Earthly life alone. I know He took your hand and has shown you His Grace.

I've spent all day trying to wrap around the fact that I will never hear Ray tell me "Hi Dollface" again. He was a pain in the butt a lot of times, but he overrode that with humor and friendship. My prayers go out to his family. Tell the rest of our cowboys up there "hello," Ray. We'll miss you here. Robin
