Hi ya'll, just an update. The one year anniversary of my accident has come and gone. I started riding the end of April, and rode one day a week until Memorial Day where I went on a 6 day ride/trip to Hocking Hills South East of Columbus Ohio. To date I'm still recovering from that 6 days of riding lol. It's obvious I need to keep things a bit quieter for a while. I have cantered, but not for long. Pistol gets a bit hairy and seems to think the move to canter also involves a party of bucking and farting and carrying on. I did sell Boo the horse that flipped on me. I feel reasonably safe on Pistol, she does however live up to her name and can be a handful at times. I'm thrilled to be back in the saddle and thank you all again for supporting me with your kind words and encouragement. Love and hugs to all ....Lisa AKA Willow

Well 2015 brings about a slight change in the speed and style in which I get things done, but not a change in my cowgirl heart. I returned to work on the 15th of January and although it's been a challenge, I will persevere. I hope to try riding in another month or two, this depends on the weather. When I take my first ride, I will take you all with me :) Thank you all for your continued support and well wishes, I'm doing well and so much better than expected. Hugs to all - Lisa

Lisa, So glad to hear of YOUR Recover In Progress. I learned of Your many injuries as I was getting read for my 66th BD May 30th.. I know You understand what I mean when I say. It could have been much worse. Your constantly improving condition is a good sign of Your persistent desire to "Get Better". As an inspiration To You and others. I find the following Link to be a Great inspiration.
