JULY 16th UofM appointment was not the eye opener I had been expecting. Dr. Purdue still does not think a new left hip is in order. Damn. He keeps saying I sustained a tremendous amount of damage and its going to time to heal. He does not seem concerned about the fact that when he lifts my left leg and says now hold it up...it falls as soon as he lets go. He did seem baffled...but not worried, as I am. Another 6 weeks of waiting. I went up north with my family n friends this weekend. Very tired n in pain most of the time..but it was good to get out. My mother n sis leave Tuesday...I will be running solo from here on out. Will see how that goes. Thanks once again friends for you love n support. Hugs..Willow..Lisa

hello ES friends...It's just past 4am and I'm up, hanging in the living room trying not to disturb my sister and mother who have been awesome and a God send to have with me. My left leg continues to be 75% of my pain, and the reason I can't sleep. New x-rays show no reason for this pain being extreme and hanging on. I'm baffled and getting frustrated. I'm in the wheel chair most of the time. I have used the walker...but still very painful to do so. My hands are so bruised, it hard to use my walking aids. I have a Dr. appointment at 9:30 am and a PT appointment at 11. Maybe more answers from these. I'm in Home Care..all nurses, PT and OT come here. Apparently I was not making the progress Blue Cross/Blue Shield required to keep me in the hospital. I have had some wonderful up lifting visitors, cards and gifts ...Thank you all ...I love you all :) Lisa ....Willow
