I have a beautiful grey thoroughbred gelding named Cheeseburger Bob ... isn't that the greatest name ever??? The story behind it is that the Northern California farm where he was foaled was managed by a guy named Bob. Bob and the farm owner ate lunch together everyday and every single day Bob ordered a cheeseburger. One day the owner swore to Bob that the next colt that hit the ground was going to be named Cheeseburger Bob ... and there you have it ... I love it!!

I love reading all your names! I have walking horses...all mares at the moment! Dixie aka Charming Lady Design is a 12 year old broodmare and pasture pet. She is the favorite with the neighborhood kids! Her weanling filly is D-Wolf (registered name Designed by the Wolf) My trail mare and the horse that helped me get back in the saddle after a riding accident that sidelined me is Red (aka Whata Classy Cowgirl) My yearling is her little half sister Whata Wicked Wolf. She is a gorgeous black and white filly with two blue eyes. Last but not least is Lady, or This Genius is a Lady. The sweetest, gentlest little mare ever!

After years without a horse and a long search for just the right horse = trained in dressage and doesn't cost an arm and a leg plus who would also trail ride, I ended up with Dahlie which means God's Gift and she is - every single day. She had a filly last May and as she is a Trakehner, her offspring's name had to start with the same first letter as her name. I wanted a name that started with D that also meant God's Gift - so her name is Danicka. Have a wonderful day in Him. :)

He is a Gypsy stallion and his name is Maximus Decimus from the gladiator. He's a hunk. LOL 14 hands and 1300 pounds. He's a gentleman with the ladies and very mannerly on a lead. In a stall or out in the pasture he is rather noisy. Thus his name in greek means, "Much (Maximus) Decimus (noise).

Thank yall so much for such great names---I have triplet goat kids that I've been trying to name for 4 weeks and just couldn't quite get it right! I've "borrowed" some of your names and now got it done! Naming the new filly was a little easier, at least for the barn name--Scamper. I'm still working on the perfect AQHA name for her....stay tuned!

I had a foal born last week on March 17. Gave him a very original name: Patric (LOL) My "June Bug" was born in June, a complete surprise. Esther's mom got through the fence and foaled on my neighbor, Esther,'s place. Freckles has little spots. Rosie is solid sorrel. Lightenin has a white jagged streak down her face and was born during a storm. Storm Cloud is white and was born on the same night. I'm real creative, huh?
