Enduring 17 years of being lied to and cheated on, divorce was my only option in 2003. Starting over was terrifying at my age. Convinced by a friend to join ES last year, I talked to many interesting men. When my membership expired, I almost didn't renew since no one really caught my attention but the optimist in me, still filled with hope, took over and I gave ES another try. Within 2 days I had a message that read "we need to talk". It was all he said. Divorced for the same reasons as I, he had joined ES that day. It seemed we had everything in common: horses, lifestyles, past hurts, dreams, goals, morals and most importantly, our love for God. Only 40 miles were between us. After over 500 emails and IMs, lots of dates and many trail rides, we said our wedding vows on horseback on Saturday, May 17.
