I am really saddened that Terry is no longer with us. Bless his family and rest in peace cowboy, for you will always be remembered by me to have been a true gentleman. God has called Terry home and he will be missed dearly. I lift his family and friends in a prayer for peace, my sincere sympathy for the loss of this loved one, and strenghth to know that Terry's soul has gone home to be with His maker and Heavenly Father. It is with a very heavy heart that I am delivering this message. Cindy called me from KS to tell me that KSPNTMAN/Terry passed away at 11:03 PM, Saturday, August 29th. He had been doing okay, then his blood pressure took another drastic dive again. Despite everything the medical staff tried, nothing worked. (Terry had propane delivered, and was re-lighting the pilot light on his hot water heater. It exploded and he received 3rd degree burns on over 70% of his body. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital, in the ICU Burn Ward. The doctors had said the odds were not very good for a patient who is burned this severely to recover. He fought a valient fight until the end.) I was at the Denton fair when I got the call, and it was very difficult to have much of a conversation from all the noise, so this is all I know about it right now. Also, Cindy made the call to let us know about 20 minutes after losing Terry, and it was very difficult for her to talk right then. God bless her for remembering Terry's ES family and that we'd want to know right away. I plan to call her tomorrow, and whenever details for his funeral are available, I'll add them to this post. Please keep Terry's daughter Ronni, Cindy, and the rest of his family in your prayers. Terry fought to live for over 3 weeks, and we all had high hopes he'd recover from this terrible accident. But ultimately, it's in the Lord's hands... Although we'll miss him, Terry is home now. I know his faith was strong, and even though we've lost our dear friend, he did regain consciousness, and communicated to his loved ones before passing. That in itself was a blessing to them.
