I think we should figure out how to get these heart felt notes to Bill's family. He sure has touched a lot of lives, and helped a lot of horses. Marcia

Ditto to your comment Meg. I too have a horsehoe heart with my name on it as well as a hoof pick and a bootjack, as well as a hoof stand that he built too. It kinda makes you wonder how many of his little creations are scattered across the country :) He sure had a big heart.... Rest easy Bill,,,

It makes me sad that he's been gone so long and noone knew. I, too, have a horseshoe heart with my name on it that he gave me.... and one of those hoofpicks that he made, which is why I always think of him, because that's the ONLY one I have used since he gave it to me. He also made me a bootjack.... but 'SOMEBODY' broke it a few years ago. Bill would've laughed and made me another one.

I am sorry not to have known of Bill's passing before now. I knew he hadn't been around, but it didn't seem that long ago that I spoke with him in chat about a mutual friend in Colorado . . . He was, obviously, a man of compassion and action . . . and those two traits truly define a MAN . . . Won't be long until we see you, Bill :)

My heart is saddened to hear of hosses passing. He was such a good friend ,he came by when David AKA Trainer was first hurt years ago. I still have his phone number ,because when I would get down I would call him and he would perk me up and make me laugh. He was a great help to Pete and I and would stop by the ranch and check on David and give us a hand. We will truely miss Hoss. RIP ...Judy and Pete

This is from Cutiepiealamode (Avis): I think of him and just want to say... "Bless his heart". He was loud and he was rowdy, but not many of us will ever meet a guy with a bigger heart or kinder hand. I wish his life could have been happier... full of unconditional love for someone that would return it as sweetly as it was given. Time is fleeting....the last 2 years has shown me that you have to live the moment in hopes it last a lifetime. Strange, he's been on my mind lately... I will continue to think of him often.

Damn, ya ole fool. Hoss - thank you for welcoming a true Yankee into your heart. You taught me some things about horses that I needed to learn, and stayed with me when I started taking lessons... always asking me how it was going. You were always happy when I came into chat and frankly, you made me smile too. You're a good man, you'll always be in my heart, and I will miss you very much. Love ya Hoss!!! Wanna
