A friend just reminded me how Hoss69 would go to Brighter Days Horse Refuge and do all their horses for free...That says everything about who he was...

My thoughts and sympathy goes out to Bill's family. I'm sad to hear of his loss but agree with Washy, he's in good company. I honor him with my memory the same way he honored me by squelching the nasty rumors going around the chat room about me. Godspeed my friend.

I too am saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Many of us enjoyed his antics during Cheyenne Frontier Days events. I still have the heart shaped horseshoe he gave me hanging on the wall in my kitchen. I will miss Bill! Vickie

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I always remember seeing his name in Chat several years ago. He will be missed. Marcia

I'm SO sorry to hear this. I have asked several people if they'd heard anything from him in the last year or so. Kenny said he talked to him last fall and he was the same ol' Bill. He had a heart as big as Texas and loved horses, which made him a gifted farrier. He will be missed! RIP Bill, ol' Hoss.

Hoss was a good friend and a great shoer. He helped many here with his talents. He'll be sorely missed by many. We'll miss you, Hoss. Breezy
