| I have to disagree, respectfully, of course...I had rather know a few things about many women, if you should know 1000's of things about any woman, it would include 100's of things that I most likely didn't want to know. Knowledge does indeed replace fear, up to a point, then it reverses itself and the fear is, or should be magnified.
If you doubt these things I speak of, check out the divorce cases in any city. That is reason enough to understand that a few months, years later, you have learned the other things you thought you wanted to know and felt the need to run run away, quickly.....
I realize that everyone has their stories of a love so complete, so strong that nothing can divide the two hearts melted into one, of romance that withstood all the temptations hurled at them over decades, and in the onlookers eyes, it may appear that way, I however doubt that in reality that transgression's did not occur, however
slight. After all,,we are all human, we have our little dark secrets, our unspoken desires...
Feel free to disagree after a honest look inside your hearts and minds. I have known those who "needed" their spirits to run free, and have n my mind condemned them, in life there is but one true purpose, to be happy, happy today does not always make happy tomorrow.
Its like ole Gus said, learn to love the little things in life, because tomorrow is not promised.
Just the rambling thoughts of 70 years..lol |

Albuquerque, NM Ladies, I saw an absolutely awesome quote on someone's profile. It made my day. It said, "I don't want to know a few things about 100 women. I want to know 1000 things about just one woman." I want to find a guy like that.
That reflects how I feel about the whole dating/relationship thing. I don't want to know a few things about all the guys here. I want to know everything about a special guy in my life. |

Olinda, CA 13 Sure like how you think...life is full of possibilities. Gives "Last Man Standing" a whole new meaning.
Once had a Cowboy tell me he wanted to:
"Always Keep His Options Open", might be good advice for Cowgirls too.
Sometimes men's manners have a way of evaporating or as I'm prone to say "they wear off".
There is nothing wrong with a back up plan, especially when everything on the menu looks good.
Life is short, eat Dessert first and make it Chocolate!

Whiskeytown, CA Whoa, BSD- "delightful venue" & "bastion of internet love" ?? You might want to go easy on them cold brews. Youre havin way too much fun....>m< |
| I finally made time to read this delightful venue. I would love to chime in with an amusing cyberdating ditty... once upon a time I went to that bastion of internet love...match.com. Sure enough I get a real nice email from a local guy. We agree to meet for dinner - about 10 minutes into dinner after discussing his divorce, child-care parenting agreement and love of golf... he suggests I might try EquestrianSingles... well yeeeehaw... Here I am and I have made some amazing friends.... Cheers to ES ... and pass me a cold brew!! |

Albuquerque, NM All BS aside, I've learned in life that you have to make things happen. "I can't" and "I quit" shouldn't even be considered. "I'll try" is all you need. |
