"Accepting life as it is..." - Now that one's worth 4 posted photos of your horses...Good stuff Res...>m<

Ya know, in the old days, members would jump at the chance to sound off, to babble self-promoting words of believed deep beliefs and to not hesitate to run up the stock of their profile potential. Yea, I know, most would get booted soon after but that's not the point... Posting a life lesson could be a good thing. It can add to your profile-istic mystique. Make you appear as the quintessential student of life. Observant, aware, a navigator of life with course correcting abilities. I ask members not to list ex's as life lessons. We already know war is a battle where no one wins, except if alimony is involved... Create a 3-D profile. Show some cyber-depth by posting a life lesson or 2. Just so you know, one posted life lesson is worth at least 3 profile pictures of your horses. For those of you who are in the middle of learning your latest life lesson, its OK, we'll wait...>m<

Geeez CWG...That's it? A woman of the world ie; Tinsel Town, Woodstock, Austin and all you have for me is proper parking etiquette? LOL We're taking a break from the cyber-dating comments for a bit and I think the Uhaul stories would just frighten new members...>m<

I've learned not to tell guys where to park the car. :) Monte please post your story about U Hauls. It was one of your bests.

Alrighty then...That about covers cyber-dating-for now. For those just coming aboard, feel free to post additional insight/opinions regarding on line dating (in general) as we go forward, but for now, let's move on to another question- What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life? I have many and when I say many, I'm being rather kind to myself but at the forefront would be; The School of Hard Knocks doesnt operate on credit...It's pay as you go and you dont get your diploma by just showing up...>m<

Another Red Flag Warning: If the guy/gal you're talking to mentions that his/her wife/husband died in a tragic ice pick accident, it's best to stay away from that.

BRZ- Kind of like hittin a nail repeatedly or redundantly, as it were. If there's an end result in mind, by all means wail away but when the wailing becomes flailing, there is no need to continue... For participating bloggers here, numerous posts on the same topic generally end up as the same point of view. Any more than a few posts per member reduces the blog to a chat room environment which would be "redundant" 'cause, we already have one of those... As previously or 'redundantly" mentioned by me- one topic, one opinion/point of view- anything more just reduces the horse apple to horse apple-sauce... All that said, as the blog host, I do sometimes have to be redundant. I just try not to repeat myself... >m<

QTR- Hey, I know that site...After inputting personal info into one of those family tree websites where you can locate long lost relatives, they sent me that link along with a little note- "Based on your submitted info, the link we are sending you is probably a good starting point for your kind. No need for further correspondence and by the way, the credit card you used has been reported as stolen. Have a nice day, just have it somewhere else..." >m<

Monte, I feel like your reply was sent from the Department of Redundancy Department. Stop repeating myself.

Sir Monte, There ARE real-world profiles (for some folks), if you know where to look. Check out their local "Most Wanted" list/site or in our case www.Shastamugshots.com, and compare portraits. Recognize anyone? Of course it would be best if your Net suitor was NOT a member. After all, like American Express card says: "Membership has it's privileges". Some groups are better left unattended, just sayin'.
