Laura passed away due to complications following numerous surgeries after she was bitten by a brown recluse spider which resulted in necrotizing fasciitis. It was believed that a blood clot from the surgeries caused a major blockage in her heart. RIP cowgirl.

I started put something down about 2weeks ago but then deleted ,it so painful yet. Good times we had on here. Miss you sage. I don't know how hang on all these years and everyone keep leave us,one day be mine turn, I am sure say Hi to again ,Sage .. Countrywomen80/Diane

I am so sad to hear of Laura's passing. She was a longtime member of ES who loved chatting and also attended many ES gatherings. RIP Laura. You will be missed by your many friends.

I am saddened to know that Laura's smiling face is no longer here on Earth. I have her email address and would occasionally communicate on a surface level, but would have liked to have had a deeper friendship. I always had a deep respect for Laura's thoughtful opinion and wittiness. I will keep her email address in my address book as a reminder of her life and will remember her with reverence when I see it. I have lost touch with so many of my ES friends and I am sorry I did not know Laura was ill. Thank you to lilcimba for letting me know. Thank you, Lord, for Laura's life and for how she touched mine and, as is evident by the memorials on this ES board, for how she touched others, as well.
