This is cool... Love the way we live in a free country and can voice our opinions... Even in ES..lol First off, I am in a relationship and have that said right from the get go in my profile... If there was a place to put such a thing I would... And Kappy, i'm one of the guilty ones at hiding my profile sometimes.... sorry.... If you're married say so... but hey, doesn't mean you can't converse and enjoy the friendships ES brings. Heck i've had a blast listening to the wedding planning that goes on in chat... lol I think I've been on here a little over a year... OMG, how time flies... The friends I have made from this site have gotten me through some difficult times.. Being able to go into chat and visit has been the healthiest thing for me... Y'all take me as I am and I really appreciate that... I have met some of ES ppls at the NFR party... it was so fun to put real ppl to the screen names and writings... I look forward to meeting more of you as time goes on. We have lost some members since I've been here, and I cried right along with those of you that had known them for much longer than I. We are a diversified bunch that is for sure... but we come together for each other... I called on my ES friends for prayers when my stepson was dying... I know and have saw first hand what prayer can do... What i'm saying is I know I can call on this group of crazy, fun people and they are here for me... I hope I'm there for them as well... I don't care if you're married, single, attached, stapled to a wall... I'm just glad to call y'all my friends... to those of you that I may have angered, I apologize and hope things can turn around... My membership is up in a couple of months but I think I'm gonna stay just to be able to keep contact with the lot of ya.. lol I've learned a lot while being in here... A Lot..... I love y'all... I enjoy ES, even if I don't get much response while in the Chat room or if I email somebody. I like to make comments, usually good, about profiles and chat. I know I have a quirky sense of humor and maybe am just too strange for anybody to understand. I still like ES. Lookin

I never saw ridinon's origional message, because for the longest time I didn't know abt the message board lol. However, I've been on here at least 4, if not 5 yrs, and reading thru this topic I came across a lot of names I rmeember from when I first joined that i don't see anymore. I joined because it said equestrian singles, I stayed because I enjoyed meeting a lot of people who liked horses - I didn't care if married or single. As A single, the first place I look is the status line and then I read the profile (I mean, that's why it's there isn't it?) Of course, if they were realy cute or sounded nice and I saw they were married, I did say "damn!" because they weren't available! lol However, as many people have said, honesty is what is really important on here. Of course, it would be nice if admin could add "attached" in the status area - would help cut down on the number of damns I tend to yell when I find out they are "taken"!! lol Probably my only issue is with folks who hide their profile - that I don't understand

Wow, talk about bringing back a lot of memories! I could hear the voices of people that have passed on when I was reading what they wrote. Have I really been a member of this site for 7 years??? I guess that's one way you know that it is truly a community, because I darn sure wouldn't still be here if it were just a singles site. I have met over 300 members and have seen so many good things come from this site. It continues to evolve and change, as do the people, but the character is still there, just like it was way back when. Thanks to whomever brought this back. It sure does bring back a lot of memories, both happy and sad. But that's what life is made up of, after all.

well I brought it back up for the happy memories adn happy posts and stuff.. not to stir trouble.LOL I dont think anyone has problems with any of it to be honest.lol just looking Back over the years..lol kind of like that song''remember when ""lol god bless..

Welp: I am not married,not engaged, just plain ole single me , but I have been here almost 5 out of the 6 yrs and I never had a problem with married folks being here, 99.9% tell you in there profile they are married so whats the big deal? No one I know is hiding the fact. This site is way more than a singles site, so I say if it bothers ya move on to a new site. A married site only I suppose is ok, but what if one of us old single guy's or gals want to talk to and old friend from here ? Maybe we would recieve nasty email's from the married folks ? I doubt it LOL Just my 2 cents worth . Washy

I agree Bob ..alot of old memories ... some tears to with our old friends that are not with us no more and a few that are happily married now or just plain Happy..lol..."raising our glass to many more happy memories and new memories ... for us all~~" karen

Thanks for the memories.... enjoyed reading all the old posts, from some of our friends that are no longer with us... we all have a lot to be thankful for... and those that dont agree, guess its time for them to move on... we have all been here through the thick and the thin... trying to help and laughing at ourselves as well as our friends... and we will be here for a long time to come i hope... thanks to you all for letting me remain a member..
