Halfway, OR I also haven't been in chat for awhile and I'm very saddened to hear of Dakota's passing. She always was the first to tell me hello when I came on and we had several chats when I was new and hurting from losing my husband. Kota, give him a hug for me! We'll miss you girl and I know you're ridin' loose and easy on a good 'un. God bless.

Moreno Valley, CA Dear Dakota (this is for you),
Well there you are with our heavenly father and all of our dear ES friends that have taken that golden path . I can just see you sitting on the fence there looking over the heard of horses that have passed over to the green pastures of home. I just know you will pick out a good one. I just know any one you choose will feel special as you were a special person while here and even more blessed there. I know how much you wanted a horse of your own but gosh darn we sure didn't want to have you leave us to get the horse of your dreams. I guess God had other plans for you and it not for us to ask why (even though we do).
Just keep your sunny and careing personality and keep a good thought for all of us you have left behind. We will miss you but I know we have to let you go. There will come a time when we will join you so until then "Happy Trails". Ride free and know we will keep you in our prayers.

Albuquerque, NM I've been thinking of Dak alot here lately and two things are coming to mind when I think of her: Firstly, we were so blessed to have had her for as long as we did. Actually, we were truely blessed to have had her at all!
Secondly, to her, all of us were heroes. She lived vicariously through us. We do all of the things that she couldn't. She admired every one of us. It has become my personal goal to be worthy of that kind of admiration.

My condolences go out to Dakota's family. She truly was a special lady whose life was cut much too short. Though I never had the chance to meet her, she always was a pleasure in chat and was there for everyone. ES will never be the same without her.
God Bless you Kota...

Vienna, MO wow....wow....I am still in shock, I had many late night chats with Dakota, we shared a deep love of german shepherds horses and of course that elusive perfect cowboy...i miss her light hearted humor and everready willingness to lend an ear to ANYONES troubles and help in any way that she could all the while going through and battling her own demons, she is truly an angel returned home...I miss her already, if her dad gets a chance to read these I would like to thank him for raising such a fantastic person, my heart goes out to him to have suffered so much loss....I am also wondering if we need or could do a fund raiser to help with un expected funeral, hospital, etc expenses, he is in my prayers and I am here for him if he wants to talk, vent, etc..

Nitro, WV I have not been online much lately, and sad to say I am in deep shock to hear of kotas illness and sudden passing. My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to her father and family,,,,she was an icon to say the least on this site and in chat welcoming everyone who came on ! And I know that Timmers AND Kempie were up there ready to welcome her into heaven along with her mom,,,,with a lot of hugs and kisses !!! She will be deeply missed here on earth as she did so much good with her life ,,,,,but will be up there to look down upon us all as we go through all our trials and tribulations that life hands out....
God Bless you Dakota 123,,,,

| (((((KOTA))))) Baby girl.. I will miss you greatly and all your talks in chat, that would light up anyone's day or evening. You were the first to greet so many people when they were new to the site and made so many, many lasting friendships.
I will never forget when you called me and said ,WT, is there anyway you can get me to your Labor Day Party in Covington?.. I told her I would try my dangest to get her there. Then she called and was so excited , she had finally got her parents to bring her to the party. She called when they got there and her and her parents made it to go to eat and then to Pearls taht Friday.
You would have thought she was on cloud 9 and never would come off that cloud lol
That evening at Pearls, she got to have her very first dance and kiss from a cowboy. Man oh Man, she was jumping from one cloud to another. Ebay, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making her so happy!!!! That was real great of you to do that and I know the friendship lasted until she was gone.
She was so excited she couldn't wait to tell me what she did..
Then at the Labor Day Party on Saturday, KOTA and her parents came and again she was so excited!!!! She was going to get to meet so many people she want to meet at last. Timmer's was her favorite and he called her his little sis. They didin't get to stay long cause her parents health wasn't great. But man what a time she had. She was so bubbly and happy and giggley, it just did your heart good to see her so happy.
Kota, baby girl, I will remember you always and you have left a void in my heart, but I know that you are in a must better place now and look Timmer's, Ben, Shelia, Judy and Frosty are all there to welcome you and remember you have to have to make sure not to grope Chris to much LOL.
Luv and miss you bunches,
